Non-binding meeting:

At KROMANN Law Firm, we offer a non-binding meeting regarding wills and/or prenuptial agreements with one of our lawyers or assistant attorneys. A non-binding meeting means that if you—after the meeting—do not wish to use our assistance in preparing the documents, you do not have to pay anything.

The meeting is held either by telephone or in person at our office in Aarhus C.

If, during the meeting about a will or prenuptial agreement, you also wish to discuss powers of attorney for the future (advance directives), this is possible. If you only wish to create a power of attorney for the future, we offer a non-binding telephone meeting with a lawyer or assistant attorney.

A meeting can also be offered at your home for an additional transport fee.

Legal aid and legal expenses insurance

In some cases, including child-related cases, you may be eligible for legal aid if you meet certain financial requirements. Legal aid means that you do not have to pay for the court proceedings; instead, our fees are covered by the state.

Many people in Denmark have insurance that includes legal expenses coverage. Such insurance covers your legal costs in certain types of court cases.

At KROMANN Law Firm, we advise you on your options for obtaining legal aid or having your costs covered through legal expenses insurance. We also assist with applying for legal aid and reporting your case to your insurance company. However, we reserve the right not to offer legal aid or insurance-covered representation in certain cases if the scope of the case is too large. If this is the case, the fee arrangement will be agreed with the client in advance.

Fees:

At KROMANN Law Firm, we prioritise transparency regarding pricing. This page shows a range of fixed prices for documents, etc. In larger and more complex cases, it is unfortunately not possible to offer a fixed price, as the scope of our work varies. In cases where it is not possible to provide a fixed price or estimate, we will explain how our fees are calculated.

Our fees are based on time spent on the case, the complexity of the case, the value of the case to the client, the responsibility involved, and the outcome of the case.

There are different opinions on what is expensive or inexpensive legal advice. At KROMANN Law Firm, you receive top-quality legal advice, and you avoid costly mistakes and unpleasant surprises in the future.

Will and Lasting Power of Attorney:

Please note that for wills and lasting powers of attorney, a notarial fee of DKK 300 per document is payable to the state.

For luxury properties above DKK 8 million, commercial properties, agricultural properties, and new builds, we are unable to offer a fixed price. In such cases, we are happy to provide a price estimate at the initial meeting, when possible.
