Work permit

If you wish to come to Denmark to work, you need a work permit. We can assist you if you want to apply for a work permit in Denmark. We are familiar with all requirements and rules and have many years of experience with these types of cases.
To obtain a work permit, you must meet certain requirements if you are not a Nordic or EU citizen. As a general rule, there must be significant employment-related or business-related reasons supporting the granting of a permit. The work permit is issued for a specific job, for a specific number of working hours per week, with a specific employer, and for a limited period. You will therefore usually need to apply for a new work permit if you change jobs.
You are not allowed to work before you have obtained your permit. If you work illegally in Denmark, you risk deportation, and your employer may be punished with a fine or imprisonment.
We recommend that you contact one of our specialised immigration lawyers if you want to ensure that you meet the requirements for a work permit.
